Persona 5 protagonist Joker is joining the upcoming Fortnite Override season, bringing another major JRPG collaboration to the battle royale.
Epic Games is bringing another massive franchise into the battle royale ecosystem. Joker, the iconic protagonist from Persona 5, is reportedly making his way to the island in the upcoming Fortnite Override season. For fans of Atlus and modern JRPGs, seeing the leader of the Phantom Thieves drop out of the Battle Bus is a crossover moment that bridges two entirely different gaming worlds.
This addition highlights Fortnite's continued dominance as a digital cultural hub where anime, gaming icons, and streaming culture collide. Players can expect the usual array of cosmetic bundles, including a custom pickaxe and back bling designed around the Persona aesthetic, alongside potential in-game events. These collaborations have become the standard for keeping seasonal content fresh and driving engagement across both casual and hardcore player bases.
As digital ownership and crossover skins continue to shape how we invest in our favorite titles, character additions like this show the enduring value of strong IP partnerships. Whether you are grinding out the new battle pass on your PC, console, or mobile device, pulling off a Victory Royale as Joker is about to become the ultimate flex.
