Microsoft revealed the first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for June 2026, anchored by Persona 5 Royal, following a busy May lineup that featured Forza Horizon 6.
Microsoft has locked in the initial batch of titles heading to Xbox Game Pass for the first half of June 2026, and the heavy hitter leading the charge is none other than Persona 5 Royal. Originally reported by IGN South Africa, the June wave one drop gives subscribers another chance to dive into one of the defining modern RPGs across console, PC, and cloud platforms.
This early June rollout is noticeably more relaxed compared to May, which rolled out heavy hitters like Forza Horizon 6. Still, the current catalog addition gives players plenty of hours to sink into Atlus' massive stylistic masterpiece. It also serves as a strategic placeholder while the community looks ahead to potential surprise announcements during the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase this weekend.
For cross-platform players and those managing their backlog between mobile streaming and main rigs, adding a definitive role-playing experience like Persona 5 Royal keeps subscription value high during the summer lull. Keep an eye on official channels over the next few days, because Microsoft usually saves a few extra surprises for the big showcase weekend.
