Paramount has released the official trailer for the horror thriller The Lost Ones, starring Henry Golding and heading to VOD on October 27.
Paramount has just dropped the official trailer for The Lost Ones, an upcoming horror thriller scheduled to hit digital storefronts and VOD platforms on October 27. Directed by Andrew Baird and written by Miles Kelly and Brandon Robinson, the film brings a heavy dose of supernatural suspense just in time for the late October viewing window. The story follows a young girl named Mae, played by a talented cast including Henry Golding, Laura Haddock, and Alex Pettyfer.
Mae has always dealt with terrifying visions that others cannot see, prompting her family to relocate deep into the countryside in search of a quiet start. Unsurprisingly, the fresh start quickly sours. When a menacing neighbor draws their suspicion, Mae and her sister Isabelle are forced to navigate both external threats and dark secrets hidden within their own home, leading up to a tense sixteenth birthday where nothing is as it seems.
While traditional cinema and streaming continue to overlap closely with modern gaming culture, atmospheric thrillers like this often draw strong interest from players who appreciate narrative heavy horror. IGN South Africa spotlighted the new footage, giving fans a clear look at the tense, isolated atmosphere that defines the film's rural setting.
