Paralives Update Revamps Babies and Clears Up Town Streets

The newest Paralives update revamps baby models, fixes neighborhood pathfinding issues with deceased characters, and adds deeper social interactions and housing options.

The latest patch for Paralives brings a wave of quality of life changes that reshape how players interact with the life sim. Most notably, the developers have redesigned the game's infants. They now trade their previous, somewhat uncanny appearance for a more traditional baby model. In a welcome adjustment for neighborhood realism, newborns now arrive directly in a character's arms rather than appearing on the pavement, and townies will thankfully stop lingering indefinitely as dead bodies on public streets.

Beyond the nursery and street sweeping, the update expands social mechanics and daily routines. Paras can now share meaningful hugs with friends and family, and high friendship tiers finally allow pals to move in together as roommates. Players also gain more control over domestic life with the ability to assign specific sides of the bed, trigger intimate interactions directly through character clicks, and enjoy a bumped average lifespan of 112 days instead of the previous 98.

World navigation and home customization also receive some love in this release. Melino now features proper street names and addresses to simplify lot tracking, accompanied by an optional town map toggle for locating wandering townies. Interior designers can experiment with new floor textures, and characters can even unwind by playing Dorfromantik on their in-game devices. It is a solid step forward for the early access title as it continues to refine its community feedback loop.
