Palworld's Latest Update: Moon Lord Gets Buff, Bugs Get Squashed (Hopefully!)

Palworld's latest update brings a new, more powerful Moon Lord, a bunch of welcome bug fixes, and some tweaks to game mechanics, so it's time to dust off your Pals and dive back in – hopefully without losing them in dimensional storage this time! Cheers to Game Rant for keeping us in the loop.

Alright, Palworld trainers, listen up! Pocketpair just dropped update v0.6.4, and it's a doozy. According to Game Rant, the update brings a new, beefier version of Moon Lord to the party, alongside a heap of tweaks and bug fixes. It's like they heard our collective prayers (or maybe just saw the bug reports piling up).

So, what's new? Well, first off, if you're the type who enjoys a good boss battle, you'll be chuffed to hear about Moon Lord [Master]. Apparently, you'll need a fancy new "Celestial Sigil [Master]" to even think about taking him on. Sounds like a proper challenge, doesn't it? I reckon my level 47 Lamball might need some backup for this one.

But it's not all about the shiny new content. Pocketpair has also been tinkering under the hood, making some much-needed mechanic adjustments. Remember when you could just send your overpowered Pals on expeditions and they'd finish in, like, five minutes? Yeah, that's gone. Now, sending a ridiculously strong team means you get more rewards. Fair enough, I suppose. Also, summoned Pals will now politely avoid bumping into non-hostile Pals. Etiquette, darling, etiquette!

And now for the bit we've all been waiting for: the bug fixes. Oh, sweet relief! Dying in the Terraria dungeon won't result in your gear being scattered to the four winds anymore. Your precious items and Pals will now conveniently drop right at the entrance. Handy, eh? They've also (finally!) fixed the issue where Pals would vanish into thin air after being stuffed into dimensional storage. I'm sure we've all been there – "Where's my Depresso?! Oh, right, the void." And if you've been pulling your hair out over lost mission progress, you can breathe a sigh of relief because that's supposedly fixed too.

They've also made a bunch of other tweaks, like adjusting the UI for when you're too broke to buy Pals (we've all been there, mate), fixing the Homing Sphere Launcher (because who needs accuracy anyway?), and even increasing the drop rate of legendary blueprints in the Terraria dungeon chests. Now that's what I call good news! Increased swimming speed for some Pals too – because apparently, some of them were doing the backstroke in treacle.

Of course, no update is perfect. I'm still side-eyeing some of those "balance adjustments." But hey, at least they're trying, right? And with more content on the horizon, it seems like Pocketpair is actually listening to the community. Who knows, maybe Palworld will eventually live up to all the hype. Or maybe it'll just keep being a gloriously chaotic mess. Either way, I'm here for it.

Big thanks to Matthew O’Dwyer at Game Rant for the initial report. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a Moon Lord to beat... or, more likely, get absolutely demolished by.
