Palworld Trading Card Game Secures Much-Needed Reprints to Fight Scalpers

Pocketpair and Bushiroad are bringing a second edition print run to the Palworld TCG's Dawn of Palpagos expansion to combat severe scalping and supply shortages.

The Palworld Official Card Game is finally getting some relief for players who have struggled to find product on store shelves. Following massive early demand for the initial Dawn of Palpagos expansion, publishers Pocketpair and Bushiroad have officially apologized for supply shortages and confirmed that a second edition print run is on the way. The initial launch proved to be a massive hit, but it also quickly attracted scalpers driving up secondary market prices.

Those high secondary market prices have been a headache for collectors, with rare full-art cards and chase items like the gold SSS version of Cattiva pulling in hundreds or even thousands of dollars. The upcoming reprints aim to stabilize availability for the set, which features one hundred unique cards alongside dozens of alternate parallel-rarity versions. While exact dates for the second edition rollout remain under wraps, Bushiroad has promised further details soon.

Looking ahead, the card game is moving full steam ahead alongside the broader franchise. The second main expansion, Legends Awaken, is scheduled to launch in October with fresh additions like Chillet Ignis and Jetragon, followed by two new trial decks in December. Between the physical card game expansions, the recent Version 1.0 release of the survival game, and upcoming spin-offs like Palworld Online, the ecosystem is expanding rapidly across platforms.
