Palworld TCG Second Edition Details Drop Following Scalper Chaos

Bushiroad is releasing a second edition of the Palworld TCG Dawn of Palpagos set in late October to combat severe scalping and supply shortages.
The Palworld Official Card Game is finally getting some relief from the scalper crisis that swallowed its July launch. Publisher Bushiroad recently shared new details regarding the upcoming second edition print run of the Dawn of Palpagos set, which is scheduled to land in late October. Ever since the monster catching survival phenomenon expanded into tabletop gaming with over 100 unique cards and trial decks, local game shops have struggled to keep inventory on shelves. Scalpers quickly swooped in to exploit the high demand, pushing booster box prices on secondary marketplaces like eBay to around 175 dollars, nearly triple the official MSRP, while rare single cards commanded thousands.
According to Game Rant, the upcoming second printing will look nearly identical to the initial wave, but with one key identifier. A small Roman numeral II will appear next to the copyright text in the bottom right corner of the cards, and the minor typos found in the fine print of first edition boxes are expected to be corrected. In the meantime, ancillary products are also seeing slight adjustments. The first volume of official card sleeves and promo sets featuring popular Pals like Chillet and Cattiva was recently pushed back slightly to an October 16 release date.
Despite the rocky rollout and supply constraints keeping the game out of big box retailers like Target and Walmart, publisher enthusiasm remains high. Bushiroad has already detailed the next major expansion, Legends Awaken, which will introduce fan favorite creatures like Jetragon and Chillet Ignis alongside new antagonist cards. For players and collectors tired of fighting secondary market markups, the October second wave offers a much needed reset to get the physical TCG into actual hands.
