Owlcat Games debuted a teaser trailer for The Infinite Museion DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader during IGN Fan Fest 2026, bringing more story-rich tactical RPG content to the table.
Owlcat Games is expanding the dark sci-fi universe of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader with a brand new expansion. As recently showcased during IGN Fan Fest 2026, the upcoming downloadable content titled The Infinite Museion promises to inject even more narrative depth and isometric tactical combat into the acclaimed role-playing game. Fans who have poured dozens of hours into building their voidship empire will soon have fresh territory to explore and new existential threats to face.
The studio has built a strong reputation among modern strategy and tabletop fans through complex titles like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and the base Rogue Trader game. While the teaser trailer keeps specific narrative plot points close to the chest, it leans heavily into the strange and sprawling lore of the Warhammer universe. Players can expect the usual mix of difficult moral choices, intricate character builds, and party management that defines the studio's catalog.
For a community that treats massive, story-rich RPGs as long-term digital homes rather than weekend playthroughs, major expansions like this serve as a great excuse to spin up a fresh save. It keeps active player bases engaged while offering content creators plenty of fresh narrative loops to dissect on stream. You can watch the official teaser trailer over on IGN South Africa to catch your first glimpse at what awaits in the upcoming expansion.
