Overwatch is driving engagement for its Reign of Talon launch with a new Twitch Drop campaign offering ten loot boxes and a PlayStation Plus bundle featuring an epic skin and tier skips.
Blizzard is keeping the momentum going for the hero shooter following its massive soft relaunch. The newly debuted Reign of Talon season is already shattering concurrent player records on Steam. To celebrate the fresh start, the development team has rolled out a pair of promotional campaigns to hook both returning veterans and new players.
For viewers tuning into creator streams, a new Twitch Drop campaign offers ten loot boxes, including two guaranteed Legendary drops. At the same time, PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim a dedicated bundle featuring the Null Sector Orisa skin alongside five battle pass tier skips. These platform specific bonuses and creator incentives are becoming standard ways to drive community engagement during major seasonal updates.
This aggressive push follows Blizzard dropping the numerical sequel designation and introducing five new heroes at once. By blending nostalgic progression systems with fresh streaming incentives, the team is successfully revitalizing the community. You can read the original reporting over at Game Rant.
