Supernova Studios has launched Funnel Runners in early access on Steam, an eight player co op survival game where teams must scavenge parts to fix a van and escape a massive tornado.

Instead of fighting off zombies or hostile aliens, your main antagonist is Mother Nature at her most violent. You have to scavenge a suburban map for spare tires and engine oil to fix up your beat up van before the storm swallows the whole area.
Survival requires quick coordination and resource management under extreme pressure. Players get a few basic tools like flashlights for dark interiors, radars to track the ever shifting paths of multiple tornados, and defibrillators to revive teammates who catch flying debris. The storm brings additional hazards like lightning and spreading fires to complicate your escape.
