Nintendo's February 2026 Partner Showcase revealed a stacked third-party lineup for the Switch and Switch 2, featuring Orbitals, Paranormasight: The Mermaid's Curse, Tokyo Scramble, and Valheim.
The latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase skipped first-party hardware updates to focus entirely on third-party heavy hitters coming to the Switch ecosystem in 2026. While players are still waiting for Nintendo to pull back the curtain on its own heavy hitters for the rest of the year, this broadcast delivered a diverse slate of cooperative adventures, horror titles, and survival crafting experiences suited for players across all platforms.
Among the standout reveals, cooperative sci-fi adventure Orbitals caught attention with its Liquid Launcher mechanics and collectible companion pets, slated for a Summer 2026 release on the Switch 2. Horror fans also received a major win with the announcement of Paranormasight: The Mermaid's Curse, the sequel to Square Enix's acclaimed visual novel, which arrives on February 19. The showcase further proved the platform's growing breadth with Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters, stealth-heavy dinosaur survival game Tokyo Scramble on February 11, and the arrival of the massive viking survival hit Valheim with ten-player online support.
For players managing libraries across multiple devices, these additions show solid third-party momentum for Nintendo's hardware as the year progresses. You can read the complete breakdown of every announcement over at Eurogamer.
