Nicolas Cage brings his chaotic cinematic energy to Black Ops 7

Nicolas Cage is officially arriving in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 as part of the Season 4 Reloaded event pass, bringing multiple operator skins, weapon blueprints, and a permanent classic playlist to the game.

Call of Duty has long since evolved from a gritty military shooter into a massive digital crossover playground, and the latest update leans fully into that reality. According to a recent report by Polygon, Nicolas Cage is officially joining the Black Ops 7 roster as part of the Season 4 Reloaded event pass arriving on June 25. Players who purchase the premium track can unlock a base skin featuring Cage in tactical gear, while completing the entire pass rewards an unlimited variant complete with long hair and a striking crimson snakeskin jacket.

While Activision has recently drawn a line in the sand by promising that the upcoming Modern Warfare 4 will skip the more whimsical crossover cosmetics, the Black Ops series continues to embrace internet culture and pop culture icons. Cage joins a growing list of famous faces in the game, following previous operator bundles featuring Terry Crews and characters from Amazon's Fallout television series. Alongside the operator skins, the event pass also packs in an animated calling card, three weapon blueprints, a custom emote, and a brutal finishing move.

For players who prefer to stick to the free track, the mid-season update still delivers plenty of fresh gear, including the AN-94 primary weapon and the Executioner's Duet melee weapon. Beyond the storefront additions, the update also brings some welcome quality-of-life changes for the community, most notably making the fan favorite Black Ops Classic playlist a permanent fixture. You can check out the full breakdown and official details over on the Polygon report.
