The new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day brings back iconic MCU faces like Bruce Banner, The Punisher, and Scorpion, while offering a first look at Sadie Sink's mysterious new character.
Sony has officially dropped the first full trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, giving players and film fans alike a massive look at the upcoming sequel. Originally reported by IGN South Africa, the footage rolled out globally following a wave of coordinated teasers across social media channels. Rather than retreating into mystery, the studio is reassuring audiences that familiar anchors from the Tom Holland era are returning in full force. Zendaya reprises her role as MJ, and Jacob Batalon returns as Ned, grounding the narrative even as the wider universe deals with the reality that the world has entirely forgotten Peter Parker's true identity.
The trailer also packs an impressive roster of heavy-hitting crossovers and returning threats. Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner makes an appearance as a university professor, Jon Bernthal brings his foul-mouthed, heavily armed Punisher back to the fold, and Michael Mando steps back into the frame as Scorpion following his setup in Homecoming. Marvel TV fans also got a major nod with the return of The Hand, the secretive ninja clan last seen in Netflix's The Defenders, alongside what appears to be a direct tie-in to Daredevil: Born Again through Wilson Fisk's political assistant handing Peter a key to the city.
Beyond the wall-to-wall cameos, the footage delivered the first brief tease of Sadie Sink joining the Marvel universe in her mysterious new role. For a modern community that thrives on deep lore breakdowns, easter egg hunts, and creator reaction streams, this trailer offers plenty of fuel for the timeline. While questions remain about how all these pieces fit together on the timeline, Sony is clearly positioning this next chapter as a massive crossover event.
