Embark Studios has a reputation for intense extraction shooters, and the Cold Storage quest in Arc Raiders certainly delivers on that tension. Part of the Stella Montis questline, this mission drops players onto the game's most unforgiving map. Between aggressive player squads, hordes of Arc machines, and sparse extraction points, simply surviving the zone is a major achievement. Finding the objective is only half the battle, because you also need to make it out alive with the loot to secure credit for the completion.
To knock this one out efficiently, players should head straight to the Loading Bay on the Stella Montis map. Specifically, you want the second floor of the area located in the southwest corner of Cargo Dock A. Look for the white J Kozma Ventures container tucked among the blue Su Durante containers. Once you interact with the back of the container, you will secure the old books needed for the mission. Make sure to immediately stash them in your safe pocket to protect your progress from ambushers.
After securing the books, your next priority is finding a way out of the hot zone. A nearby route leads down to a train station, but you need to watch out for environmental hazards like fall damage and patrolling Shredders. Once you successfully extract and hand the books over to Shani back in Speranza, your efforts are rewarded with three gas mines and a raider hatch key.
