Capcom has dropped the Go Forth trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, showcasing new environments, the mysterious Encroachment threat, and a March 13, 2026 release date across modern platforms.
Capcom is expanding its spin-off universe with Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, and the newly released Go Forth trailer gives players a clear look at what to expect when the game launches. Building on the turn-based mechanics and narrative focus that defined previous entries, this new installment sends players across diverse landscapes to befriend monsters, meet colorful characters, and untangle a massive new mystery. As the threat of the mysterious Encroachment looms over the world, players will have to step up and uncover the source of the calamity before it consumes everything.
The scale of this release highlights a major shift for the franchise, as Capcom is launching the title simultaneously across a wide array of current hardware. Players can pick up the game on March 13, 2026, across PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and notably the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. This broad cross-platform rollout ensures that the entire community can jump in together on day one, whether they prefer playing at a desk, on the couch, or on portable hardware.
For a franchise traditionally known for intense action-oriented hunts, the Stories spin-off series continues to carve out a unique space by leaning heavily into deep storytelling and companion building. With digital economies and seasonal content shaping how we play today, having a robust standalone RPG to sink dozens of hours into remains a refreshing change of pace. We will be keeping a close eye on how Capcom handles performance across platforms as the release date approaches. As reported by IGN South Africa, you can check out the official trailer to see the new environments and mechanics in action.
