Mondo has revealed a new Real Ghostbusters collectible set featuring Louis Tully and Grundel, complete with a slew of accessories and bonus figures as a timed exclusive.
Mondo is continuing its impressive run of collectibles based on the beloved animated series, The Real Ghostbusters. IGN recently revealed the studio's latest timed edition set, which pairs everyone's favorite stressed accountant, Louis Tully, with the menacing ghost Grundel. The package also treats fans to a few bonus figures, including a proton pack-wearing Slimer and a Grundel Alec, making it a comprehensive drop for animation enthusiasts and physical collectors alike.
The set does not skimp on accessories, staying true to Mondo's detailed standards. Louis comes fully equipped with a proton pack, a ghost trap, a PKE tracker, Ecto Goggles, and an interchangeable head. Meanwhile, Grundel features his own swappable hands and heads to recreate various scenes from the show. Retailing at $202 as a timed exclusive on Mondo's official site, this bundle stands as the only way to secure the Grundel figure for your display shelves, even if the standalone Louis figure sees a separate release later.
Mondo's ongoing series has already tackled the core roster of heroes, including all four main Ghostbusters and Janine Melnitz. With previous sets like the Winston Zeddemore and Sandman release selling out quickly, demand for high-end figures tied to nostalgic cartoon franchises remains remarkably strong. For collectors who view physical displays as an extension of their digital gaming dens and pop culture spaces, these limited drops represent serious shelf appeal.
