Modern Warfare 4 Beta Nears Final Hours With Expanded Level Cap and Rewards

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta concludes on September 1, giving players just hours left to hit the level 30 cap and earn exclusive rewards for the full game.

The second and final weekend of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta is quickly coming to a close. Infinity Ward is shutting down the servers on Tuesday, September 1, at 1 p.m. EDT. Players on the west coast of North America have until 10 a.m. PDT, while players in the UK and western Europe will see the test wrap up at 6 p.m. BST and 7 p.m. CEST respectively. Australian players will lose access early Wednesday morning at 3 a.m. AEST.

As reported by Polygon, this final weekend expanded significantly on the initial testing phase by raising the level cap to 30. Participants have been able to grind out unlocks including extra weapons, perks, and killstreaks that carry over as rewards into the full game at launch. Weekend two also introduced the Entrenched campaign level, a dedicated mobility and aiming practice course, and the large-scale combat of Ground War.

Time is running out for anyone looking to secure those exclusive account rewards before launch day. If you want to max out your progress and test out the new modes before the servers go dark, you will need to jump in immediately.
