Xbox Game Studios is giving away an 86-minute soundtrack bundle for Microsoft Flight Simulator on Steam for free until September 1, alongside a wide franchise sale.
Xbox Game Studios and Asobo Studio are celebrating the franchise history of Microsoft Flight Simulator by dropping a surprise freebie for PC players. As reported by GameRant, Steam users can currently claim an 86-minute soundtrack bundle containing previously unreleased music compiled from fan-favorite release trailers. The album, titled Microsoft Flight Simulator Suite: Themes Reimagined, normally retails for about ten dollars, but it is free to keep for anyone who adds it to their library before September 1.
Unlike the typical indie game giveaways that populate digital storefronts, this promotional drop targets a massive AAA community with polished, high-production content. The track list features extended and revisited versions of iconic scores, ranging from the E3 2019 announcement theme to regional showcases highlighting locations like the United Kingdom, France, and New Zealand. Even players who do not currently own the core simulation titles can log into Steam and claim the audio files to keep permanently.
Alongside the soundtrack giveaway, the publisher has launched a broad franchise sale across Steam, the Windows Store, and Xbox platforms. Major franchise installments are seeing steep price cuts, including a notable sixty-five percent discount on the 2020 entry and an eighty percent markdown on the classic Flight Simulator X. It is a solid win for aviation enthusiasts and digital collectors looking to expand their libraries without breaking the bank, especially as storefronts ramp up mid-year promotions and seasonal bundles.
