Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Director Issues Public Apology Over PC Launch Issues

Marvel Tokon director Kazuto Sekine has apologized for ongoing PC launch issues while outlining upcoming fixes for input response, assist frequency, and game mechanics.

As reported by Game Rant, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls game director Kazuto Sekine has issued a formal apology to the community regarding the rough technical state of the game on PC. Despite a promising pre-launch period, players running the PC version encountered major performance hurdles that persisted past the day one patch. Arc System Works is actively rolling out updates to resolve these lingering stability problems while prioritizing player feedback.

Beyond technical fixes, the studio is overhauling core mechanics like input response and assist frequency. Players found creative ways to optimize assist calls to a degree that caught the development team off guard, resulting in chaotic screens that obscure visibility. Arc System Works plans to reduce input downtime, improve visual clarity, and tweak cooldown timers to give neutral and rushdown playstyles more room to breathe.

While character win rates are currently sitting in a healthy band between 48 and 52 percent, Sekine noted that the game is still deep in its discovery phase. The team is holding off on broad roster nerfs or buffs until the upcoming system changes settle into the competitive meta. Meanwhile, dataminers continue to dig up references to future DLC fighters and potential battle pass systems, though official word from the developers remains under wraps.
