Marvel Tokon Datamine Points to Fantastic Four and Daredevil DLC

Recent datamine leaks from Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls suggest the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and other major Marvel characters could be on the way as DLC.
Fresh datamine findings from the known community group X0XLeak suggest that Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls may soon expand its roster with some heavy hitters from the Marvel universe. As reported by Polygon, game files point toward the entire Fantastic Four family alongside Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Gambit, and Wasp. New stage references for Klyntar, the Sanctum Sanctorum, and Japan were also discovered in the files.
The community response has been particularly strong for Daredevil, who fans note has surprisingly never made a main roster appearance in a major fighting game, especially since sharp-eyed players already spotted Matt Murdock in the background of the existing New York stage. Gambit and Wasp round out the discovered names, with Gambit riding a strong wave of recent mainstream popularity across streaming and recent Marvel adaptations. Arc System Works has already confirmed that Phoenix Cyclops is heading to the game this fall as the first drop in its initial year of post-launch content, with speculation swirling that Silver Surfer, Nova, and Thor might fill out the rest of the year one lineup based on recent tie-in comics.
While data leaks are never a guarantee of final implementation, and developers can sometimes sit on character assets for years, the timing aligns well as the game prepares for its competitive debut at CEO. The title is currently working to rebuild momentum after a bumpy PC launch, though recent patches have helped stabilize performance while the core mechanics continue to win over the fighting game community.
