Manage a Crew of Socially Awkward Knights in Upcoming RPG Sovereign Tower

Sovereign Tower is an upcoming management RPG where players rule a nation and send socially awkward knights on bizarre quests, slated for an August release.
Ever find out you are suddenly the ruler of an entire nation due to an ancient prophecy, despite being a complete nobody just moments prior? That is the exact premise of Sovereign Tower, a new management RPG from the developers behind Aetheris and Crown Gambit. Reported originally by Oisin Kuhnke at Rock Paper Shotgun, the game puts you in the throne room to field bizarre requests from citizens and neighboring territories.
The gameplay loop revolves around managing a round table of distinct knights and sending them out on quests that range from dealing with a goose terrorizing the local baths to finding a lost blacksmithing hammer. Each knight brings unique stats and wonderfully awkward personalities to the table, featuring everything from a gold-shimmering showoff to a medieval goth. It shares a bit of thematic DNA with titles like Reigns, but leans heavily into irreverent, sarcastic humor and striking visual art that looks straight out of an indie European graphic novel.
Players do not have to wait too long to dive into the kingdom management either. The title is currently slated for an August release later this year, and you can already check out a demo on itch.io or add it to your wishlist on Steam. For anyone who enjoys narrative management games with plenty of personality, this is definitely one to keep on your radar as we head toward the late summer release window.
