Magic: The Gathering Unveils Corn Maze Superdrop Featuring Labyrinth, KPop Demon Hunters, and Marvel Zombies

Wizards of the Coast has announced the MTG Corn Maze Superdrop, bringing Jim Henson's Labyrinth, KPop Demon Hunters, and Marvel Zombies to Magic: The Gathering with an October 12 release date.

Wizards of the Coast is leaning hard into pop culture crossovers with the newly announced Corn Maze Superdrop for Magic: The Gathering. Arriving just in time for the autumn season, this latest batch of limited availability cards trades traditional spooky horror for a lighter, nostalgia-driven lineup. Headlining the drop are major collaborations with Jim Henson's Labyrinth, KPop Demon Hunters, and Marvel Zombies, offering players plenty of fresh cardboard to pimp out their commander pods.

The Labyrinth collection steals the show by splitting across three distinct drops, featuring gorgeous art that includes David Bowie as Jareth the Goblin King. While some of the card choices lean heavily into casual appeal with gorgeous alternate art, others pack serious mechanical punch for dedicated deck builders. Alongside the Jim Henson sets, the KPop Demon Hunters collaboration brings powerful combo pieces like Underworld Breach, while the Marvel Zombies set delivers alternative art treatments for zombie kindred enthusiasts.

Beyond the marquee crossover sets, the superdrop includes art-focused releases like the Manufactured Grounds drop by See Machine and the Peace, Love and Treefolk collection, which gives Timber Protector a long-awaited reprint. IGN South Africa reports that the Corn Maze Superdrop officially launches on October 12 at 9am PT, with Wizards offering a special Labyrinth-themed copy of Maze of Ith as a bonus for orders exceeding $199.
