Magic: The Gathering is launching a new Deadpool Secret Lair drop called "I Fixed it (You're Welcome)", featuring six vandalized staple cards revealed by creator Taalia Vess.
Wizards of the Coast is teaming up with everyone's favorite fourth-wall-breaking mercenary once again. A brand new Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair drop titled "I Fixed it (You're Welcome)" brings Deadpool back into the fold with a collection of six cards that lean heavily into the character's chaotic personality. Content creator Taalia Vess initially revealed the upcoming set on Instagram, showing off a special foil treatment known as the Pool Party Edition that covers the cards in sparkly confetti.
Unlike previous Deadpool card releases that largely stuck to conventional framing, this new batch features the antihero literally vandalizing classic staples to make them his own. The six-card lineup includes humorous alterations like Sol Ring marked up with a fiery ring and Swiftfoot Boots transformed into Lightning Greaves via masking tape and a marker. Other staples like Costly Plunder get the marker treatment to become Deadly Dispute, giving players a fun, highly customized aesthetic for their Commander decks.
For collectors and players who enjoy leaning into alternate art styles and digital ownership of unique physical variants, Secret Lair drops continue to be a massive draw. While the non-vandalized versions of these cards are inexpensive to pick up on their own, the appeal here is entirely about the humor and the novelty of running a deck that looks like it was fished straight out of a comic book punchline.
