Lucasfilm has reconfirmed that more stories featuring Cal Kestis are in active development, cementing the Jedi survivor as a major pillar of the unified Star Wars canon across games and other media.
Lucasfilm has offered another strong signal that Cal Kestis will remain a central figure in the modern Star Wars universe. During a recent presentation discussing Disneyland theme park experiences, a company representative casually confirmed that more stories featuring the iconic Jedi survivor are actively in development. This latest update reinforces previous studio statements that the third installment in the Respawn Entertainment series will continue to flesh out the character's journey across the galaxy.
For a generation of players who watched Cal grow from a hunted scavenger into a powerful Jedi Knight, this ongoing commitment matters. Disney's unified canon policy means that interactive storytelling holds equal weight with live action television and film. Cal is not just a gaming protagonist. He is a primary pillar of modern Star Wars lore. When a character makes the jump from digital screens to physical theme park attractions, it signals a massive level of brand success that translates directly into long term franchise investment.
As development on the trilogy capper continues behind closed doors, fans are already speculating on how the story will conclude across PC and current gen consoles. While we await official gameplay trailers or deep dives from EA and Respawn, this latest corporate confirmation should reassure anyone invested in the crew of the Stinger Mantis. Cal Kestis is sticking around for the long haul, and his corner of the universe is still expanding. Original reporting comes via Ashley Turner at Game Rant.
