Lies of P: Complete Edition has launched on the Nintendo Switch 2 to an 86 Metacritic score, bringing the acclaimed Soulslike and its Overture DLC to Nintendo's new hardware.
The Soulslike genre continues to expand across every major platform, and the latest hardware port proves that challenging action RPGs can find a comfortable home on portable hybrid systems. According to a report by Game Rant, the newly launched Lies of P: Complete Edition has arrived on the Nintendo Switch 2 to a warmly received 86 critic rating on Metacritic, based on 26 initial reviews. The bundle packs the acclaimed base game and its Overture DLC into a single release, giving players on Nintendo's new hardware a definitive way to experience the dark, gothic reimagining of the classic Pinocchio story.
For a long time, major third-party AAA releases on Nintendo platforms carried a reputation for uneven performance or compromised ports. Seeing a demanding, visually striking Soulslike translate this successfully to the Switch 2 platform is a major win for players who prefer portable sessions without sacrificing gameplay depth. Developer Neowiz and Nough Studio have built a massive following by nailing the atmospheric environmental storytelling, tight combat loops, and relentless challenge that fans of the genre expect, carving out a reputation as one of the finest non-FromSoftware contributions to the genre.
As the community keeps a close eye on the confirmed sequel currently in development, this strong critical reception opens up the world of Krat to a fresh wave of players. Whether you are revisiting the ruined city on the go or checking out the puppet protagonist's journey for the first time, this release highlights how modern cloud and portable hardware continue to close the gap on traditional console gaming.
