LEGO has announced a new quarter-scale E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial building set featuring posable limbs and a light-up chest, arriving on August 1 for $139.99 / £119.99.
Nostalgia continues to prove itself as one of the most reliable forces in modern entertainment. LEGO is tapping straight into childhood memories with a brand new set dedicated to cinema's favorite stranded alien, letting fans build their own posable figure complete with his iconic glowing heart. Set number 21370 captures the lovable creature at roughly a quarter of his actual life size, featuring fully movable appendages for anyone looking to recreate classic cinematic moments on their shelf.
For collectors and pop culture enthusiasts, this release bridges generations nicely. The inclusion of a light-up chest feature adds a clever interactive touch that elevates the display piece beyond a standard static build. It arrives at a time when physical collectibles and desk setups remain a massive part of creator spaces and personal streaming backdrops, giving fans plenty of ways to show off their fandom.
The set officially launches on August 1 with a price tag of $139.99 / £119.99, and pre-orders are already live for anyone wanting to secure a box early. As reported by IGN South Africa, this upcoming release is bound to tempt collectors looking to add a heavy dose of classic Amblin magic to their gaming rooms and display shelves.
