Building brick enthusiasts and Pokémon fans have plenty to look forward to later this year if recent product leaks hold true. According to reports originating from Game Rant, the ongoing collaboration between The Pokémon Company and LEGO is expanding significantly with a rumored wave of summer sets. While previous releases focused heavily on familiar faces like Pikachu, Eevee, and the Kanto starter trio, these new leaks suggest the partnership is diving deeper into specific generation lore and fan favorite characters.
Most notably, a leaked upcoming set centered around the Gen 3 Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza will reportedly feature a unique minifigure of Zinnia. Additional rumored sets point to a diverse rollout including builds for Munchlax, Arcanine, a Poké Ball display featuring minifigures, and a Jolteon versus Charizard Smart Play set. LEGO collectors tracking these developments are looking at a potential lineup of nine new sets hitting shelves in the coming months, alongside a community voted set inspired by the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
For collectors and long time fans, seeing deep cut characters like Zinnia make the jump to official minifigure status is a massive win. It shows that these brick based crossovers are moving beyond safe, mascot heavy choices to appeal directly to dedicated franchise veterans. As we wait for official confirmation and product reveals from LEGO, these leaks suggest the crossover is evolving into a comprehensive merchandise line that rewards community knowledge and nostalgia alike.
