The recent 2026 RLCS Paris Major delivered an unforgettable weekend for competitive gaming, capped off by Karmine Corp taking home the championship trophy. Playing in front of a roaring hometown crowd in France, the roster converted years of consistent top tier finishes into a definitive tournament victory. They secured the title by defeating Saudi Arabian powerhouse Twisted Minds in a tense grand final series.
For followers of the scene, this win feels long overdue for the organization. Karmine Corp reached the semifinals in the last two Rocket League World Championships, proving they had the skill to contend for the top spot but lacking the final piece to secure the major trophy. This win validates their roster changes and rewards the French fanbase, who turned the arena into one of the loudest venues in esports history.
Beyond the esports action, the event also served as a major showcase for the future of the game. Attendees caught the very first public glimpse of Unreal Engine 6, hinting at massive technical upgrades on the horizon for the ecosystem. As competitive gaming continues to push hardware limits and expand its global audience, moments like the Paris Major highlight how live events and platform evolution go hand in hand.
