July's Prime Gaming Loot: Lara Croft, Space Battles, and Enough Free Games to Make Your Head Spin!

Amazon's Prime Gaming is dishing out a whole bunch of free games in July, including the *Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered* collection, so grab 'em while they're hot and prepare for some retro adventuring! Plus there are bonus games like *Star Wars Jedi Knight* and *Marvel's Midnight Suns*!
Right, listen up, Prime Gaming members! Amazon's chucking out a heap of free games this July, and honestly, it's a bit of a mixed bag – but there are definitely some gems in there. Eurogamer's Victoria Phillips Kennedy spilled the beans, and I've been sifting through the digital rubble to find the shiny bits.
First off, and this is the big one, you can snag *Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered* (via GOG). Now, I reckon most of us have raided tombs with Lara Croft at some point, but these remasters are actually pretty decent. Eurogamer gave it four stars back when it dropped, noting its "carefully made and lovingly updated" feel, even if it's still got some of those classic, clunky Tomb Raider controls. (Think Indiana Jones but with more polygons and fewer snakes... maybe.)
But wait, there's more! Prime Gaming also added *Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2* (via GOG), *Amnesia: The Dark Descent* (via Epic Games Store), *Marvel's Midnight Suns* (via Epic Games Store), and, for a limited time, *Football Manager 2024* (via Epic Games Store). That's a bloody good bonus, if you ask me.
Available now until July 7th, you can also grab these titles:
* *Dungeon of the Endless: Definitive Edition* (Amazon Games App) * *Saints Row 2* (GOG) * *Toem* (GOG) - (Eurogamer reckons this is a "cheerful modern classic," so definitely worth a look!) * *Saints Row 4: Re-Elected* (GOG Code) * *Star Wars: Rebellion* (GOG)
Also available:
* *Boxes: Lost Fragments* (Epic Games Store) * *Paquerette Down the Bunburrows* (Epic Games Store)
Keep an eye out for these on the following dates:
* July 17th: *Endless Space 2: Definitive Edition* (Amazon Games App) and *Besiege: The Splintered Sea DLC* (Amazon Games App) * July 24th: *Venba* (GOG) (a "beautiful slice-of-life tale," apparently – sounds delightful!) and *I Love Finding Wild Friends: Collector's Edition* (Legacy Games) * July 31st: *Heroes of Loot* (GOG)
So, that's the loot, mate! Plenty to keep you busy this month, and a nice mix of genres, from tomb raiding to space strategy to…finding wild friends. Amazon Prime members, get claiming!
