Developer poncle and Shueisha Games announced Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton during the Nintendo Direct. The game blends Vampire Survivors gameplay with a JJK battle royale mode for up to eight players, and is scheduled to release across major consoles and PC later in 2026.
Jujutsu Kaisen fans have a major new release to look forward to later this year. During the June 9 Nintendo Direct, Vampire Survivors developer poncle and Shueisha Games officially announced Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton. The upcoming title combines the addictive, wave-clearing gameplay of the indie phenomenon with the massive anime franchise, bringing an officially licensed survivor experience to Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The gameplay builds directly on the mechanics that made Vampire Survivors a breakout hit in 2022. Players will face relentless waves of Cursed Spirits with attacks triggering automatically, forcing them to focus entirely on positioning, dodging, and selecting tactical upgrades. What sets this project apart is its unique battle royale twist, featuring an eight-player PvP mode where competitors must constantly outpace each other's scores or risk getting overwhelmed. For players who prefer solo play, the title also supports a dedicated single-player experience featuring a roster of over twenty fan-favorite characters, including Satoru Gojo, Kento Nanami, and Megumi Fushiguro.
This collaboration marks another major milestone for poncle following the recent release of Vampire Crawlers. By pairing a proven indie gameplay loop with powerhouse anime IP and modern cross-platform availability, the studio is tapping directly into what contemporary players want from fast-paced, highly replayable multiplayer titles.
