Jakks Pacific and Universal have revealed a new image gallery for a line of 1.5-inch mini scale figures based on the Super Mario Galaxy movie, offering fans a close look at the tiny collectibles.
Merchandise rollouts for upcoming video game adaptations always give fans an early look at what to expect, and the latest batch of collectibles leans heavily into miniature charm. Jakks Pacific, in partnership with Universal, has revealed a fresh image gallery showcasing a new line of 1.5-inch mini scale figures tied to the Super Mario Galaxy movie ecosystem. These bite-sized collectibles capture key characters in a compact form factor that appeals directly to desk collectors and dedicated Nintendo fans who love filling their gaming setups with subtle nods to their favorite franchises.
While the figures themselves are delightfully small, the rollout highlights how aggressively entertainment properties continue to bridge the gap between silver screen adaptations and physical merchandising. For modern collectors who view their gaming spaces as personal shrines, these mini figures offer an accessible entry point compared to high-end statues. They also fit neatly into the current trend of blind-box and micro-scale collecting that dominates both physical retail and creator unboxing streams on platforms like TikTok and YouTube.
You can check out the full visual lineup and inspect the intricate details of these tiny collectibles over at IGN South Africa, where the complete image gallery was originally published. As Hollywood and gaming continue their current crossover era, expect plenty more merchandise reveals as release dates draw closer. Whether these little figures end up as shelf decorations or permanent desk companions during long queue times, they represent another fun way for the community to engage with the broader Mario universe outside of actual gameplay.
