Jeff is cautiously optimistic and super curious about this unique character roster and what the future holds for this distant release.
Alright, you digital adventurers, gather 'round! Old Jeff just tripped over a little something that popped out of the interwebs – a trailer for something called *Invincible VS*. And fair dinkum, it’s got me scratching my head in the best possible way, like I've just discovered a new spell component in a forgotten corner of the internet.
So, what's the big reveal? Well, if you blinked, you might've missed the official 'Robot & Monster Girl Reveal Trailer' – and yes, you read that right, 'Robot & Monster Girl'. Already sounds like a wild fan-fiction prompt brought to life, doesn't it? Our mates over at IGN South Africa caught the scoop, courtesy of the ID@Xbox Fall 2025 Showcase. *Fall 2025*, mind you. That's practically a whole dimension jump away in gaming years!
Developed by Quarter Up, *Invincible VS* is shaping up to be an action fighting game. Now, a fighting game with robots *and* monster girls? My mind immediately goes to the glorious, chaotic possibilities of character rosters. Are we talking intricate combo systems? Over-the-top special moves that could accidentally open a portal to another realm? And will these characters have backstories as compelling as their names suggest, or are we just here for the glorious, pixelated punch-ups?
It's always exciting to see what ID@Xbox is cooking up for indies, and a fighting game in this specific niche? Colour me intrigued. While 2025 feels like a long wait to get our hands on this potential gem, this early glimpse has certainly piqued my curiosity. It's a healthy dose of speculative fun to imagine what Quarter Up might conjure up between now and then. Let's just hope the reality lives up to the glorious, robot-on-monster-girl fantasy that's brewing in my brain. Because, honestly, who *doesn't* want to see that play out?
