Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is getting a free Fresh Start outfit for PS5 and PC on July 28, timed to coincide with the release of the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Insomniac Games is keeping wardrobes fresh for players diving back into New York City. According to a report by Game Rant, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is receiving a brand new cosmetic addition on July 28. Players on both PlayStation 5 and PC can grab the Fresh Start suit at no extra cost, bringing a look inspired by the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day film directly into the game.
This upcoming drop marks the eleventh free outfit added to the title since its initial launch. The new costume features detailed textures, a prominent front and center spider emblem, and visible web shooters under each wrist. While developer attention is largely split toward the upcoming September release of Marvel's Wolverine, Insomniac continues to support its superhero sandbox with small community incentives.
For players who enjoy streaming photo mode sessions or simply love expanding their cosmetic collection, these periodic updates provide a great excuse to boot the game back up. It is a solid way to keep the community engaged while tying into the broader Marvel cinematic schedule. You can check out the original details and coverage over at Game Rant.
