Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani is hosting a new five-episode MCU recap podcast leading up to the theatrical release of Avengers: Doomsday this December.
Iman Vellani is returning to the Marvel cinematic universe sooner than expected, though not quite in the way fans anticipated. According to IGN South Africa, the Ms. Marvel star is teaming up with podcaster Frank Alvarez to host the Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast. The five-episode series debuts next week on August 27, rolling out across Disney plus, Marvel's YouTube channel, and standard audio platforms. While the show focuses on recapping major MCU milestones rather than dropping major movie secrets, the finale lines up with the theatrical release of Avengers: Endgame Encore on December 18.
Even though Vellani's Kamala Khan has not been officially confirmed for the upcoming Avengers film, community speculation is running high regarding potential cameos or larger roles in Secret Wars. Hype for the movie is already translating into massive pre-sales, outpacing recent blockbusters and keeping the community deeply engaged across social feeds and creator reaction streams. Marvel has also shared a mandatory 15-title watchlist for fans looking to prep their marathon viewing sessions before opening night.
For cross-platform players and entertainment enthusiasts who treat Marvel lore as part of the broader gaming and streaming ecosystem, this audio series offers an easy way to catch up. Whether you are grinding dailies on mobile or catching reaction content on YouTube between matches, having a structured recap show helps keep the massive shared universe organized. It is a smart cross-media play that keeps fans plugged in while the marketing machine rolls toward December.
