A new Fortnite guide breaks down the fastest way to complete the Springfield Mini Season's Homer clone elimination quest in a single match.
Fortnite has officially crossed over into Springfield, and players working through the latest weekly quests are tasked with eliminating fifteen Homer clones. While you can certainly hunt them down individually across the map as you loot and rotate, there is a much faster method to knock out this entire challenge in a single match. As reported by Polygon in their recent guide, the key is keeping a close eye on your map the moment a new Storm Circle appears.
Shortly after a storm reveal, a special icon featuring Homer and a giant donut will pop up on your tactical display. Head straight to that location and you will find a crowd of clones standing around the massive floating pastry. More importantly, you can actually destroy the donut structure to force even more clones to spill out into the open.
Keep in mind that picking a fight with the Springfield crowd is a quick way to draw heavy aggro. Once you start firing on the donut or the clones, the entire group will immediately turn their attention toward you. Drop in prepared with enough shields and weapons to handle the chaos, and you will finish your weekly progression in no time before the next squad rolls up to third-party your fight.
