Forza Horizon 6 is finally giving players a proper winter playground to tear up, and tracking down every landmark on the massive new map is a weekend project in itself. One of the key Discovery locations in your Collection Journal is the Sotoyama Ski Resort. While the snowy peaks might tempt you to immediately start drifting down the main runs, getting credit for the landmark requires a bit more precision than just parking in the snow. According to a helpful guide by Johnny Yu over at Polygon, the actual photo target is tucked away from the main slopes.
To log the location for your Journal, head to the west side of the Sotoyama region right at the top of the map. Skip the snowy trails and look south of the central slope for a distinct brown patch of ground, which also houses the Snowbank speed trap and the Snow Forest Cross Country Circuit. You are looking for two large wooden buildings next to a massive parking lot. Snapping a picture of these structures will officially check the resort off your list.
If you are tackling the active #SkiHoliday photo challenge, you will need to add a bit of luxury to the snowbanks. Make sure you roll up in a Lamborghini and snap the photo with the Italian supercar parked right in front of the resort buildings. It is a fun little extra step that gives content creators and car culture fans another great excuse to show off their customized garages across social feeds.
