A complete gameplay walkthrough for Pokemon Pokopia helps players push past the 71-point yawn threshold, restore the Withered Wasteland, and trigger the Rain Dance party.
Getting stuck right before a major milestone is never fun, especially when you are trying to push through a narrative wall in a massive sandbox world. IGN South Africa recently detailed a complete walkthrough for Pokemon Pokopia and the tricky Yawn Up a Storm quest, giving players a much needed roadmap for restoring life to the Withered Wasteland. If you are stuck at the stubborn 71-point yawn threshold and cannot figure out how to squeeze those final points out of Slowpoke for Professor Tangrowth, you are definitely not alone in the community right now.
The guide breaks down the essential steps for environmental management, showing players how to water dry tiles, track down three hidden water springs, and use Rock Smash to get underground flows moving again. You will also need to team up with familiar faces like Bulbasaur and Squirtle to craft specific habitats, learn Rototiller from Drilbur, and grab those free Castform Weather Charms hidden inside the professor's cave. These systems add a great layer of base building and terraforming depth that goes far beyond standard franchise tropes, rewarding patience and active exploration.
Nailing this quest is the key to unlocking the Rain Dance party, summoning Kyogre, and eventually freeing Onix to rebuild the local Pokemon Center. Whether you are hunting down the elusive Ninja Outfit or simply trying to grind your Trainer Rank up to Great so you can tackle tougher biomes, having a solid route mapped out saves hours of guesswork. Head over to IGN South Africa to check out the full video walkthrough and get your island ecosystem running at peak efficiency.
