Housemarque revealed a new pre-order trailer for Saros at The Game Awards 2025, setting an April 30, 2026 release date exclusively for PS5.
Housemarque is officially ready to show us what comes after Returnal. During The Game Awards 2025, the studio dropped a striking new pre-order trailer for Saros, confirming that the highly anticipated sci-fi action title will launch on April 30, 2026. PlayStation 5 players will be stepping into a dark, unforgiving world governed by a haunting eclipse, where survival demands patience and mastery over repeated failure.
The premise leans hard into the developer's signature loop-based mastery. Players will brave the hostile environment of Carcosa, gathering strength and knowledge with every defeat to push a little further into the mystery. As reported by IGN South Africa, the fresh footage highlights the studio's knack for blending relentless action with striking, atmospheric world-building.
For a community that loves high-skill challenges and fast-paced movement, Saros is shaping up to be a major spring release. Housemarque has built a reputation for setting a high technical bar on current-gen hardware, and this latest look suggests the upcoming title will continue that trend when it arrives on console next year.
