Homer Simpson's Upcoming Fortnite Skin Might Break a Longstanding Anatomical Rule

A leaked Fortnite skin for Homer Simpson suggests the battle royale is about to feature its first ever character model with nipples, breaking a long running design trend that started with Travis Scott's virtual concert.
Fortnite is currently leaning hard into its latest Springfield themed season, bringing major character drops like Marge, Ned Flanders, and Homer to the island. According to a recent leak shared by community insider @DrCacahuette and originally covered by Eurogamer, the Simpson patriarch is getting an underwear variant that includes a rather unexpected feature. If the leaked files hold true, this specific Homer skin will actually include nipples. This marks a notable shift for Epic Games, which has historically kept all shirtless character models completely smooth.
The debate over digital anatomy in Fortnite famously dates back to the massive Travis Scott virtual concert, where players noticed the artist's digital avatar lacked any chest detailing whatsoever. Since then, smooth chests have remained a quiet staple of the game's character design guidelines across countless collaborations and original outfits. Because Homer is an animated character from a long running cartoon, the rules might be bending slightly this time around, giving fans a very literal translation of his classic couch potato look.
Beyond the humorous anatomical milestone, the Simpsons collaboration has been an undeniable success for Epic Games. The seasonal drop recently sparked a massive player surge that the platform hasn't seen since the previous holiday season, proving once again that massive pop culture crossovers remain the ultimate driver for active user counts. Whether you play on mobile, console, or PC, running around the battle royale map as an underwear clad Homer is bound to be a highlight for squads jumping into the game this month.
