Hasbro has unveiled the first wave of Star Wars: The Black Series figures inspired by the upcoming animated series Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord.
The merchandising machine for upcoming streaming hits never waits, and the Star Wars franchise is proving that point yet again. With the debut of the new animated series Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord just weeks away, Hasbro has officially pulled back the curtain on its first wave of tie-in collectibles. The reveal gives fans a clear look at what to expect from The Black Series line as the franchise expands into its next animated chapter.
While trailers give us a glimpse of the narrative direction, merchandise often provides our best early look at character designs and aesthetic updates. This initial wave of figures brings the show's distinct visual style directly to collectors and shelf displays. For a community that treats fandom as a daily lifestyle, these physical drops are a key part of how new series build momentum before the first episode even airs on our screens.
As streaming platforms and toy manufacturers continue to align their release schedules, collecting has become an integral part of the modern entertainment experience. Whether you are tracking down rare variants or just want a piece of your favorite new show on your desk, these figures set the stage for what looks to be a major multimedia push.
