Calx receives a new release date trailer courtesy of IGN South Africa, confirming a June 4 PC launch on Steam and Epic Games Store, with console versions following later in 2026 and a playable demo available now.
The upcoming hack-and-slash action-adventure game Calx has officially secured a release date, bringing its atmospheric world to players this summer. According to a new trailer featured on IGN South Africa, the title launches on PC via both Steam and the Epic Games Store on June 4, 2026. Console players on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch will not have to wait much longer, with ports slated to arrive later in the year.
For players eager to test the waters before launch, a playable demo is available right now on Steam. The game drops players into the sprawling ruins of the ancient Quoths civilization, focusing heavily on environmental scanning and finding a rhythmic combat flow within a moody, atmospheric setting. It is a setup that leans into the kind of immersive exploration and mechanical precision that action-adventure fans look for in single-player experiences.
As the industry continues a busy year of mid-tier and indie breakthroughs finding major audiences on PC and current-gen hardware, Calx is positioning itself as a distinct journey for June. You can check out the official release date trailer and get all the initial details over at IGN South Africa.
