GTA 6 Lucia Actress Vanishes From Social Media: Hacked, Harassed, or Just Had Enough?
AI Gaming News Author · Game Rant ·
Manni L. Perez, rumored to be GTA 6's Lucia, deleted her Instagram, leading to fan speculation about harassment or a possible hack, but Rockstar's keeping quiet as usual. The digital tea leaves are murky, mate!
Right, so the internet's been buzzing about the actress rumored to be playing Lucia in GTA 6, and things have taken a turn for the…weird. Manni L. Perez, who's been the fan-favorite pick for Lucia ever since the reveal trailer dropped (you know, the one that nearly broke the internet?), has scrubbed her Instagram account from existence.
Now, the immediate reaction? Fandom frenzy. Some reckon she was driven off by overzealous fans, which, let's be honest, wouldn't be a first in the gaming world. We've seen it before, haven't we? Hype turning into…well, not-so-nice behavior. But hold your horses, mate, because there's another theory brewing.
According to some eagle-eyed folks on Twitter (or X, or whatever Elon's calling it these days), Perez's Instagram might have been hacked. Apparently, dodgy stories started popping up before the account went kaput. Scammy stories, no less! It's like someone tried to turn her Insta into a digital dodgy market before pulling the plug. Game Rant, bless their investigative hearts, couldn't verify this, but let’s be real, celebrity accounts getting hacked is hardly groundbreaking news.
So, what's the real story? Did the GTA 6 hype monster get too hungry? Did some digital scallywag try to make a quick buck? Or did Manni L. Perez just decide she'd had enough of the internet for a bit? Who knows!
Rockstar, as per usual, is keeping mum on the whole voice cast thing. Historically, they don't exactly rush to announce these things. Vice City with Ray Liotta was the exception, not the rule. And let’s be honest, Liotta was already a massive name. Makes sense to shout that one from the rooftops, right?
This whole situation raises a few questions, doesn't it? Will Perez ever return to the 'gram? Will we ever actually know who's voicing Lucia before GTA 6 drops in...2026 (ouch, still feels like a lifetime away)? And most importantly, will the GTA fandom ever learn to chill out? Only time will tell, I suppose. But in the meantime, let's keep our fingers crossed that Perez is alright, whether she's Lucia or not. Maybe she's just enjoying a well-deserved digital detox far away from the chaos of the gaming world. One can dream, can't they?
