GoodbyeWorld Games' acclaimed narrative indie Before Your Eyes is coming to the Lenovo Gaming Community as a free Steam key drop on September 23.
PC gaming can certainly run up a bill when you are chasing every new AAA release at full price, but promotional drops continue to offer brilliant ways to pad out your library without spending a dime. As originally reported by GameRant, the acclaimed narrative adventure Before Your Eyes is heading to the Lenovo Gaming Community as a free key drop on September 23 at 12 PM ET. Securing a copy will require moving fast because supplies are strictly limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
Developed by GoodbyeWorld Games, Before Your Eyes holds an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam with a staggering 98 percent approval score across more than 15,000 reviews. The game earned its stellar reputation through a genuinely innovative mechanic that tracks your real-life webcam to control the narrative with your actual blinks. The emotional story follows a deceased soul navigating the afterlife while reviewing memories of their life, making it an unforgettable journey for anyone who appreciates narrative-driven indie gems.
Getting ready for the drop takes a bit of preparation since the process involves linking multiple accounts. Players need active profiles on Steam, Twitch, and the Legion Gaming Community, alongside a Gleam account to handle the verification steps. After the key is claimed, it redeems through Gamesplanet before finding its final home on your Steam library. Lenovo previously delayed this specific drop to overhaul their backend systems and ensure stability, so the queue should run much smoother this time around.
