Lenovo Legion Gaming is giving away free Steam keys for the first season of Telltale's The Walking Dead starting August 19, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
PC players using Steam have a chance to add a narrative powerhouse to their digital library at zero cost. According to a report by Game Rant, Lenovo Legion Gaming is running a limited key giveaway for the first season of The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series. The promotion kicks off on Wednesday, August 19, at 10 AM PT and 1 PM ET.
Because supplies are strictly limited, the keys operate on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning the giveaway will close the moment the pool runs out. To secure a key, participants need an account in the Legion Gaming Community, a partner account with Gamesplanet, and a Steam account that has previously met a five-dollar spending threshold. Users who make it through the queue will have a ten-minute window to claim their voucher.
This 2012 release remains a defining title for choice-driven storytelling, putting players in the shoes of a convicted criminal named Lee Everett as he protects a young girl named Clementine during a zombie apocalypse. For anyone who already owns the classic or prefers a different style of narrative, Lenovo has also lined up a follow-up promotion for September 2 featuring Before Your Eyes, an emotional adventure controlled by real-life blinking.
