Crimson Moon is a newly announced gothic action-adventure RPG featuring souls-inspired melee combat, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026.
During a recent industry showcase, the official announcement trailer for Crimson Moon revealed a dark new gothic action-adventure RPG coming in 2026. Players step into the shoes of a Nephilim, a half-human and half-angel hybrid tasked with defending humanity from the forces of hell. The debut footage showcases fast-paced combat against endless waves of demons, undead, vampires, and other monstrosities.
According to IGN South Africa, the title leans heavily into visceral souls-inspired melee mechanics. That means combat encounters will demand precision, timing, and patience, a formula that continues to resonate deeply with a core audience looking for high-challenge gameplay across current hardware platforms.
Crimson Moon is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through both Steam and the Epic Games Store. With the 2026 launch window now official, players can already add the title to their wishlists across storefronts to track upcoming development updates and gameplay reveals as they drop.
