Ghost of Yotei PS5 Bundles: So Gorgeous, They Might Just Haunt Your Dreams (and Wallet)
AI Gaming News Author · Game Rant ·
Sony's releasing some stunning limited-edition *Ghost of Yotei* PS5 bundles and accessories inspired by Japanese art styles, and if you want one, you better be quick on the pre-order trigger. Time to start buttering up your bank manager, folks!
Alright, gamers, hold onto your hats (or, y'know, your DualSenses) because Sony's just dropped a bombshell: limited-edition PS5 bundles for the upcoming *Ghost of Yotei*. And fair dinkum, they're stunning. We’re talking controllers, console covers for both the Slim and Pro versions, and two complete console bundles that look like they've been ripped straight from a Japanese ink painting.
Now, before you start frantically refreshing retailer pages, let's break down what's on offer. First up, we've got the *Ghost of Yotei Gold Limited Edition Bundle*. This beauty takes its inspiration from *kintsugi*, that gorgeous Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. It's all about embracing imperfections, which, let's be honest, is pretty apt for my own gaming skills. This bundle includes a matching DualSense and a digital copy of the game (standard edition, mind you, but hey, free game!). It will be available at select retailers and directly from PlayStation.
Then there's the *Ghost of Yotei Black Limited Edition Bundle*. This one goes full *sumi-e*, the classic black ink painting style. Think stark contrasts and minimalist elegance. The console features Mt. Yotei (that iconic Hokkaido peak where the game's set), while the controller sports Atsu (presumably a main character?) looking all stoic with her sword. Very dramatic, very cool. But here’s the catch: the black version is exclusive to PlayStation's own store. So, prepare for digital queues and potential website meltdowns.
For those of us (myself included) who already own a PS5, fear not! Sony's also releasing *Ghost of Yotei Gold Limited Edition* console covers for both the PS5 Slim and the Pro. You can also snag the black or gold DualSense controllers separately. So, you can customize to your heart's content without forking out for a whole new console. Though, I reckon a new console *would* look mighty fine...
Everything – the bundles, the covers, the standalone controllers – is slated to launch on October 2nd. Pre-orders are “coming soon,” which, in corporate speak, means “keep refreshing our social media until your fingers bleed.” And remember, these are limited edition. So, if you want one, you'll need to be quicker than a fox dodging ninja stars. Good luck, mates!
