The Coalition has pulled back the curtain on its post-launch roadmap for Gears of War: E-Day, mapping out the first two seasons of content ahead of the game's early access rollout. Season 1, titled Emergence, kicks off immediately and runs for eight weeks, bringing seasonal themes like Halloween and Thanksgiving alongside weekly challenges and the launch of Versus Ranked. Players who previously earned specific achievements in Gears of War: Reloaded will also find exclusive rewards waiting for them.
Looking further ahead, Season 2, named Legacy, arrives in December and serves as a major tribute to the franchise as it approaches its milestone twentieth anniversary. A special community gift is planned for November 7 to mark the exact anniversary date. Beyond that, the studio has already mapped out three additional upcoming seasons titled Infiltration, Pendulum, and Devotion, signaling a steady stream of updates for the community.
The launch also introduces a grueling new achievement tier called Mythic Achievements to the Xbox ecosystem. For Gears of War: E-Day, dedicated players can chase the Dead Serious achievement, which requires 100 percent campaign completion on Insane Difficulty, 25,000 Versus kills, and maxed-out player levels and Horde classes. Surviving this monumental grind unlocks exclusive in-game cosmetics, including a Legendary Character skin, a special medal, and a heroic frame for the new Xbox profile showcase.
