Polygon reports that Furious 7 is now streaming for free on Tubi, offering players a chance to revisit Jason Statham's highest-rated action movie on Rotten Tomatoes.
For anyone trying to keep track of the chronological leaps and family barbecues in the Fast and Furious franchise, streaming platforms just made revisiting a massive blockbuster much easier. Polygon reports that Furious 7 has officially landed on Tubi's free ad-supported streaming library. Beyond the franchise lore and ridiculous stunts, the 2015 action heavy-hitter holds a special place in cinema history as Jason Statham's highest-rated action movie on Rotten Tomatoes, largely thanks to his magnetic turn as the revenge-driven villain Deckard Shaw.
While the movie is packed with unforgettable blockbuster moments, including the brutal brawl between Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham plus the infamous skyscraper car jump, it remains deeply tied to gaming and pop culture history for a different reason. Released during an era when cinematic universes were dominating entertainment, the film also serves as a poignant emotional landmark due to the tragic passing of star Paul Walker during production. Director James Wan and the crew managed to craft a respectful, memorable farewell for Walker's character using digital body doubles and unreleased footage, creating a cultural touchstone that fans still revisit a decade later.
For a generation of players who balance their time between competitive multiplayer lobbies, watching creators on Twitch, and enjoying blockbuster movies on demand, having access to peak 2010s action for free is a welcome win. Whether you are catching up on the convoluted timeline before future entries or just want to see some classic cinematic destruction without paying a subscription fee, heading over to Tubi gives you an easy way to experience one of the decade's most talked-about theatrical spectacles.
