Freaky Friday Gets Even Freakier: A Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse (Plus, Fantastic Four Crafting!)

IGN South Africa released a 'What is Happening' clip for *Freakier Friday* and a 'Crafting Fantastic Four' featurette, offering a mixed bag of body-swap comedy and superheroic behind-the-scenes goodness.
Alright, buckle up, mates, because things are about to get a bit...weird. IGN South Africa just dropped a sneak peek for *Freakier Friday*, and it's got me scratching my head in that 'I think I understand, but also maybe I don't?' kinda way. This isn't your average trailer; it's more of a 'what is happening?' clip. Which, fair play, is exactly what they've called it.
The clip itself is only a couple of minutes, but it's packed with that signature body-swap zaniness we've come to expect. Think chaotic energy, ridiculous situations, and probably a healthy dose of 'oh no, what have we done?' moments. I reckon it's leaning hard into the comedy, and if that's your jam, you'll probably be all over this.
But that's not all! Nestled in the same post is a featurette for the upcoming *Fantastic Four: First Steps*. This one's titled 'Crafting Fantastic Four', and it's exactly what it sounds like – a peek behind the curtain at how they're bringing Marvel's first family to life. We're talking concept art, costume design, and probably a bit of the 'how we nailed the powers' chat. It's the kind of thing that gets the Marvel faithful buzzing, especially with all the casting rumours swirling around like a rogue magic spell.
So, two very different flavours of geeky goodness from IGN South Africa. One's a slice of chaotic comedy with *Freakier Friday*, the other a taste of superheroic potential with *Fantastic Four: First Steps*. Whether you're after a laugh or a bit of behind-the-scenes insight, there's something here to tickle your fancy. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to ponder the existential implications of body-swapping...and maybe try to figure out how to get my hands on Reed Richards' stretching powers. For science, of course!
*(Quick aside: I'm always a bit wary of pre-release hype, but this *Fantastic Four* featurette *does* seem to be showcasing a genuine effort to get the tone right. Fingers crossed they can pull it off!)*
