Fortnite's Winterfest 2025 event is underway, featuring holiday updates and an upcoming Bleach anime collaboration that includes character skins and Mythical weapons.
Fortnite's annual Winterfest event is officially live, bringing a massive wave of holiday content, free gifts, and major franchise crossovers to the battle royale. While Epic Games is launching its first major partnership with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, community attention has quickly pivoted toward an unexpected anime arrival. According to teasers from Epic and reports from prominent community insiders, a comprehensive Bleach collaboration is landing in the item shop this weekend.
The upcoming anime bundle is expected to feature four iconic characters from the series, including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Orihime Inoue, and Uryū Ishida. Data miners and trusted community leakers indicate that the massive crossover will deliver four character skins alongside matching back blings, pickaxes, emotes, and a weapon wrap. Beyond cosmetic upgrades, the collaboration is rumored to introduce gameplay items, including Mythical weapons like the Fully-Hollowfied Ichigo Mask and the Dual Zangetsu swords, which will add projectile combat capabilities to standard matches.
The Bleach arrival highlights how deeply anime crossovers have become entrenched in modern live service ecosystems, often overshadowing traditional holiday fare. Alongside the anime drop, Winterfest features a rotating lineup of diverse cosmetics, including Batman Beyond gear and holiday variants of pop culture icons, running through January 5, 2026.
